The legend of the Sock Goblins!
Taken from Amazon.com My daughter received this as a gift for her 6th birthday. She was a little scared at first from the title, but was elated to find that the sock goblins were not scary at all, as they are often portrayed in other stories. The story also had her questioning if sock goblins would come take her socks too. My answer was "yes" of course! The story has motivated her to keep her room clean. As a parent, this book honors the tradition of passing stories on from one generation to the other. My 7 year old twins said they love this story and the illustrations. She was curious as to what would happen next. She also went and cleaned up her room a bit. Great illustrations. Looking forward to more children's books!! |
